The executives of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria met today and decided that the former CEO of Oceanic Bank is no longer worthy of being a member of the association. Her name has been removed from the register of the association. She now ceases to be a member of the Nigerian Banking Profession.

‘Peeping Jack’ Sent To Prison; For Watching Couple Having Sex

According to PM News, a 'peeping Tom', 36yr old Raymond Obi Eze (pictured above) was sent to prison for watching a couple have sex. Raymond hid in the couples bedroom, under their bed, and watched them have sex to 'derive sexual satisfaction'.

He was discovered by the man of the house, who handed him over to the police. Raymond was charged to court on a two-count charge of unlawful entry and attempted murder. He pleaded not guilty to the charges, saying he was only watching the couple have sex and did not attempt to harm them.

He was granted bail in the sum of N100, 000 with two sureties in like sum. When he could not meet the bail conditions, he was ordered to be remanded in prison custody at the Kirikiri Maximum Security Prisons, Apapa, Lagos.

Nigeria to Launch Satellite Next Week

Nigeria will relaunch its communications satellite to space, named NigComSat 1R next week.

The event, according to the managing director of the Nigerian Communications satellite Limited (NIGCOMSAT) Timasaniyu Ahmed-Rufai is slated for Xichang, China on December 19.

NigComSat 1R is …a replacement satellite of NigComSat 1 which was de-orbited on November 10, 2008 due to a solar array problem.

It was built by China Great Wall Industries Corporation (CGWIC). The replacement satellite, which is due for launch next week, is at no cost to Nigeria, according to Engr Ahmed-Rufai.

400Level Lasu Student, Chinyere Ezeala, Found Dead in Lover's House after a marathon sex

A final year student of the Lagos State University, Ojo, Chinyere Ezeala, 27, has been found dead in her lover’s room at Ejigbo, Lagos, southwest Nigeria after a marathon sex.

The police at Ejigbo alleged that the 400-Level student was found dead on Friday on her lover’s bed at 36, Fayemi Street, Ejigbo, Lagos. She was found wearing a wrapper.

At the moment l have just few info about this horrific, sad incident. All I hear right now is that it happened today and the victim is a student and model. There are different versions as to what led to this incomprehensible act...but the bottom line is that she was killed by her boyfriend today in Lekki, Lagos. The killer's identity has not yet been revealed but be rest assured that we will bring you all the details in subsequent posts...there are people currently working on the story. I hear the man who did this has disappeared...will keep you guys posted.

Robbers Shot Abacha's Last Son

 A gang of suspected armed robbers, on Wednesday night, besieged one of the homes of the late General Sani Abacha in the metropolitan area of Kano, shooting the last son of the departed ruler, Alhaji Al-Mustapha Abacha somewhere near his stomach. A police source told Daily Sun that apart from Al-Mustapha, other persons sustained injuries, adding that those injured have been rushed to an undisclosed hospital.

Man Collapses After Ordering For Prostitute and Daughter Shows Up

A man who ordered a prostitute to his hotel room collapsed when his daughter turned up at the door.

Titus Ncube from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, said the shock of seeing his 20-year-old daughter sent him to the ground..

The unnamed woman reportedly fled the building.

According to the Zimbabwe News, Ncube ordered the prostitute as he was experiencing marital problems..

“I am sorry for what I did,” he said. “I spoke to my wife and my daughter… I apologised for my actions because I just wanted my family back."

Ncube said his daughter was no longer working as a prostitute and was planning to return to school..

The line will be active 24 hours, 7 days a week. The number is - 080072732255. It's 12-digits, but it works.

The help-line was unveiled today by the Minister of Youth Development, Bolaji Abdullahi, who also named Naeto C and BBA winner, Kevin Chuwang Pam, as ambassadors and spokespersons for the Nigerian Youth and the rape challenge.

Gunmen kill bridegroom at wedding ceremony

 Maiduguri – Unknown gunmen on Saturday in Maiduguri struck at the venue of the wedding ceremony of 30-year-old Maduga Borikmen and shot him dead.

The stray bullets also hit one person and injured two others on the occasion.

According to an eye witness, who pleaded anonymity, three assailants arrived at the scene in a golf car.

When they alighted from the car with AK47 riffles, they went straight to the bridegroom, opened fire on him and zoomed off.

Borikmen was a former councillor from Shehuri North under Lamisula ward in the state capital and currently the Chairman of Borno ex-councillors  forum.

The state spokesman of the Joint Task Force (JTF)  Lt.-Col. Hassan Mohammed, confirmed the incident, saying that the body of the victim had been evacuated.

“The two dead bodies recovered from the scene have been deposited at the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital (UMTH), while those injured are receiving treatment in the medical centre,” he added

Nigerian Senate Bans Same Sex Marriage in Nigeria. Places 14 year Jail Term for Offenders

Nigeria’s senate passed a bill on Tuesday outlawing same-sex marriages in Africa’s most populous country as well as banning public displays of affection between homosexual couples.

Approval of the bill, which must still be voted on by the House of Representatives and signed by President Goodluck Jonathan, came after debate that saw one lawmaker go as far as to suggest that offenders be killed.

Another Nigerian Killed by a Policeman

A young man was allegedly shot dead by police men on Tuesday November 29th in Port Harcourt, after the taxi he was traveling in refused to stop when stopped by some policemen at a road block.

The incident happened around 3pm at Rumunkara Lane along Rumuola road, opposite First Bank, Port Harcourt. According to eye witnesses, the police men chased after the cab after it refused to stop and then opened fire. The young man who was a passenger in the cab, was hit and killed instantly.
