Dead body found in Arik Air’s wheel well

A dead body was found in the wheel well of a plane operated by Arik Air for its London and New York routes, the company’s spokesman, Adebanji Ola,  said.

According to Ola, the man’s body was found on Friday in an undercarriage wheel compartment after the Airbus A340-500 plane returned to Lagos from London. But it was not clear when or how he gained access to it.

“They just found the body in the aircraft yesterday. There’s no identity on it,” he told AFP, adding that an investigation would be carried out.

For beating their six children with brooms, hoovers and wires and even giving their baby a morphine overdose after childbirth, Nigerian couple, Joseph and Gloria Musa (pictured above with their kids) have been jailed for seven years each in London, with the UK press calling them all sorts of names.

But the Nigerian married couple denied the allegations, claiming the children were victims of a racist witch-hunt. They were, however, found guilty of cruelty to a person under 16. The parents convicted of a decade long campaign of abuse against their six children were jailed for seven years each yesterday.

The Nigerian couple, which the paper said claimed their kids were possessed by evil spirits, were found guilty after Coronation Street star Michelle Collins gave evidence against them.

The parents argued that the children had been ‘brainwashed’ into making the allegations by the police, the London Borough of Haringey and Miss Collins who they said ‘wanted to steal’ them, UK’s Green Crown Court heard.

Cynthia, as we gathered, was picked up by an Alhaji, and after they had fun, he took her to his guest house, and gave her $2000 to suck and sleep with his monkey. She refused at first but after looking at the money again, she concurred.

After the ordeal the Alhaji went to drop her and drove off and few hours later she started complaining of stomach ache, she thought it was a normal thing. 

Few hours later, maggots started coming out from her private parts; her friend tried to rush her to the hospital but it was too late. She died before they could do anything.
‘It is true the poverty level of the country is driving everyone mad, but Nigerian ladies need to be careful with some extremities in their search for a means of livelihood’.

Note: This type of incident is simply sad and keep resonating it's ugly head year after year. For you who want to get rich making love to animals, should always put it at the back of your mind that there is no life left for you after this encounter with animal.

Provide condoms or face closure, commissioner tells hoteliers

Makurdi – Mrs Comfort Ajene, the Benue Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, has warned hoteliers in the state to provide condoms for guests or risk closure.

Ajene gave the directive on Thursday in Makurdi at an AIDS sensitisation programme organised by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, in collaboration with the Benue State Aids Control Agency (BENSACA).

DETROIT (AFP) – The Nigerian “underwear bomber” who tried to blow up a packed airliner on Christmas Day 2009 must spend the rest of his life behind bars, a US judge ruled Thursday.

Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, 25, pleaded guilty in October to eight charges, including the attempted murder of 289 people on board Detroit-bound Northwest Airlines Flight 253.

Dressed in a white skull cap and loose white t-shirt, Abdulmutallab showed no emotion as Judge Nancy Edmunds handed down the maximum sentences for each count.

Bomb Planted In Children Playground In Kaduna

A time bomb was alleged planted at Mounted Troop in Kabala Doki Police Barracks, yesterday, where children were planning innocently with the disguised object.
The Kids were cleared from the playground when the object was identified as a possible bomb.

An eyewitness said that "the children were unconsciously playing with the bomb and nothing happened to them, before it was discovered that the object was an explosive with a timer on it."

The anti-bomb squad arrived on time to destroy the bomb.
