67 Year-Old Australian Woman Found Dead After Meeting With 28 Year-Old Nigerian Lover She Met Online
A widowed grandmother who travelled to South Africa to marry the man she loved has been found dead under suspicious circumstances in a Johannesburg guest house.
West Australian woman Jette Jacobs, 67 (pictured left), was found in February, two days after she met up with a man calling himself Jesse Orowo Omokoh, 28. (pictured right)
The pair had met on an online dating website.
Ms Jacobs had travelled to Africa to meet the Nigerian before, in a long distance relationship spanning three years and seeing the widow part with $200,000.
But this time they were to be married. She wanted to settle in Nigeria. Her children had begged her to stay in WA. Her body was discovered in her rented villa by South African police on February 9.

Mr Olufemi Oluseyi Onisarutu, a two-time Councillor in Somolu Local Government Area of Lagos State has always been in the eye of the storm.
After the drama in 2007 when residents alleged that Onisarutu was imposed on the people of Ward B in Somolu Local Government Area by his godfather, who is also his uncle, this time the residents are alleging a more grievous offense.
They are alleging that since he was inaugurated for a second term, he has been “living large” in the United States of America and yet collecting his salaries and allowances as a Councillor in Nigeria.
Onisarutu’s alleged absence from his official duties has become a cause for concern and is causing tension among Councillors in Somolu LGA, who cannot explain his whereabouts.

Two of the people that kidnapped Nollywood actress, Nkiruka Sylvanus, in Imo State, were former cattle traders from the Northern part of Nigeria, security officials have said.
The leader of the gang that carried out the kidnap is from Imo State and was aN Ex-police officer with the mobile police unit.
The six suspects that carried out the kidnap were paraded at the State Security Service, SSS, Headquarters in Abuja on Tuesday at a joint press briefing by the SSS and the police.
Ms. Sylvanus, actress and aide to the Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha, was kidnapped on December 15 at about 7:30 p.m. alongside two men- Uche Okoli and Kenneth Okoli- at Nworie Street, Akanchawa roundabout area of Imo State by three gunmen.

An Apostle Raped 8-Year Old Girl
An Ogun State-born ‘cleric,’ George Akinyele, was almost lynched by an angry mob for allegedly having carnal knowledge of an 8-year-old girl. However, Akinyele, who is said to be the shepherd in charge of one of the branches of a leading Pentecostal church in the Ejigbo area of Lagos state, did not escape being beaten black and blue and paraded naked, by the mob.
The victim’s father, known as Baba Akeem narrated how the unfortunate sexual knowledge of his little child began: “About a month ago, we were shocked when our daughter, Elizabeth complained of virginal pains, saying that she was sexually abused by ‘Baba’, the name she calls Akinleye the neighborhood pastor. Her descriptions of what transpired between her and Akinleye showed that she was actually raped.”

Unilag Student Jumps From 3rd Floor to Escape Rape
A 21-year-old student has been hospitalised, after she was allegedly pushed down from the third floor of the multi-storey building in Lagos, following a disagreement with a man she met on the social network, Facebook.
Akabugu Nkiruka sustained multiple injuries, including a pelvis fracture, and was undergoing surgery at the General Hospital, Marina, Lagos, on Tuesday.
